Default Where can I find large long range mobs?

Im testing a farming build that does beautifully against long range foes (such as wand casters or rangers) using whirling defense as the main damage dealing. I am currently farming various locations in canthan but I cant seem to find a place with more than 12 long range mobs at a time with having other type of mobs in the vicinity that can pose a dangerous threat.

Anyone know of an area in the game that is fairly populated with mostly monsters that attack long range (if they can cast spells its fine). Im looking to use the build to farm holiday items in a short amount of time. thanks.

I believe that most mob groups come with a variety of profession types. The only ones I can think of that are specialized are the dinosaurs in EotN. They seem to come in specialized groups. But the problem is avoiding the raptor patrols.

All I can think of are the massive wind rider mobs throughout Tyria.

You could farm the undead outside of bergen hot springs, there's a caster or two but they don't do any realm harm.

Theres the spiders that drop in The Floodplain of Mahnkelon. Just outside Rilohn Refuge. People farmed the spider boss to the point that it's now worthless. Maybe you can find a video of that run to see how to get the spiders to spawn.

There are the Mantids outside of Nahpui Quarter. Those come to mind if your looking for a large long range mob (25-30+ Foes).

Definitely one of the easier-to-access areas. There are a lot of Monks in those mobs so, so it might be a problem.

My turn , my turn lol .
Ice imps and ice golems - both in prophs and eotn , Fire imps ( la ) , snowmen in eotn , pinesouls ( terrible surgeon i think was meaning them ) , err hate it when you cant remember old farming spots . Kappa on shing jea island , ibogas and the other plants thats usually with them ( ele ones ) on istan and parts of kourna - if you want one spot with loads of them go into fahranur via back end ( blacktide den and head up - theres 2 big mobs that can be merged an pulled - was an old farm with pre nerf sf.
Thats all i can think of for now

I thought enemies had to be adjacent to be hit by it...
